Atlanta is home to millions of small companies and 17 Fortune 500 companies, and 2018 is expected to bring even more excitement to the world of business in this ever-changing, heavily populated city. With talk of Amazon setting up its second headquarters in Atlanta, it comes as no surprise that developers and realtors are prepping for an upsurge in the residential and commercial real estate market.
Atlantic Station has progressed greatly in the past year and is predicted to evolve more in the next few years than ever before. Atlantic Midtown broke sales records, with 102 contracts written in 2017, and there are no signs of slowing down in 2018. The changes coming to Atlantic Station include remaking the park in front Regal Cinema, adding new restaurants, refacing the retailers to better reflect their own brand, and adding unique and modern office buildings.
The first office building, T3 West Midtown, is set to begin construction in the next couple of months, and will provide more than 200,000 square feet of office space. Unlike more traditional offices in Atlanta, these will offer an industrial vibe, and the first office is slated for completion in 2019. Construction of the other office space, Atlantic Yards, comprised of two structures facing Midtown, will begin shortly thereafter. Businesses and residents alike are going to benefit from the makeover Atlantic Station is about to receive.
